Once upon a time in Budapest…

Vesper Suite is a five-movement suite written by Nick Torretta for string orchestra, woodwinds and improvised saxophone. Nick had the good fortune to travel to Budapest in 2023 to record with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra and the album was released February 2024.

This work was inspired by the terrible beauty of natural chaos that has formed the universe we live within; the necessity created by our world to be fluid and adaptable in order to navigate our ever changing reality.
